A vacancy has arisen for a Racing Fuels Sales Manager, based in the US.
Develop the sales of the Racing Fuels business in North America to deliver the annual Business Contribution target; to develop and deliver the longer-term business growth strategy.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Sales & Key-Customer Management:
· Develop a distribution network across the country
· Develop relationships with key influencers:
o Top teams / top riders / top drivers
o Engine tuners & builders
· Set programs scheme for individuals to join and order ETS fuel through our online platform
· Maintain strong relationships with key customers
· Develop deals with series, championship organized, circuits
· Approach potential customers to develop new business
· Day to day management of key accounts and coordination of all sales activity through sales team
· Conduct market research to develop sales
· Provide support to increase brand awareness
· Support development of sales agents & distribution network
· Business Planning and Forecasting
· Reporting and Key Data Maintenance
· Market Activity / Prospecting
· Effective management of accounts (per account plan)
· Allocation of products to sales force
· Development of longer term contracts
· Develop new sales opportunities
· Quality/accuracy of monthly forecast
· Analysis of monthly results and explanation of variances
· Effective management of Racing Fuels stock needed to cover allocated territory
· Develop growth strategy options and execute plans to deliver
· Convert new business opportunities
Required Skills and Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sales Executive
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Racing Fuels market
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Ability and desire to sell
· A positive, confident and determined approach
· Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
· A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
· Technical background (experience in fuels is a bonus)
· Excellent teamwork skills
· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
· A high level of constructive critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products
· Coordination and building of strong working relationships with various internal organizations including IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Operations
- Must be able and willing to travel 60% of the time including weekends during race events
