We are seeking an enthusiastic, diligent and experienced individual to join our expanding engineering team here at our Harwich site.
This primary function of the role is to carry out engineering maintenance duties on the Harwich site to deliver safe and reliable operation of plant and equipment
Responsibilities
· Undertake preventative routine maintenance
· Carry out workshop and onsite repairs
· Implement improvement modifications
· Operate engineering workshop tools and equipment
· Record work related information
· Communicate with others within and outside own department
· Plan own workload including arranging parts and materials
· Carry out heavy lifting operations
· To carry out all activities safely with due regard to others working on the site
Qualifications and Experience
Ability to identify problems, identify solutions, work within company procedures to implement improvements
You will be provided with relevant training as required.
· A Relevant Level 2 or 3 engineering qualification / NVQ in engineering / maintenance operations
· English and PC literate
· Experience with databases and MS excel.
· Experience of working within or understanding of health & safety standards and regulations
